Welcoming Night at Esma Sultan

Adelle & Phillip’s enchanting wedding journey came to life with an unforgettable experience at two of Istanbul’s historic landmarks, the Çırağan Palace and Esma Sultan Mansion. As guests gathered in the grandeur of the Çırağan Palace, they crossed the calm waters of the Bosphorus by boat to Esma Sultan Mansion, as if opening the doors to a fairytale.

The theme chosen for the first night reflected Adelle & Phillip’s admiration for Turkish culture, blending the captivating colors of the Grand Bazaar with Ottoman motifs. The historical fabric of Esma Sultan Mansion was illuminated with traditional Ottoman lanterns, bringing the authentic atmosphere of the Grand Bazaar to life once again. The atmosphere, enriched with shades of blue and turquoise, carried guests to the past, while the reds and oranges added a warm energy to the night.

In this captivating setting, the buffet offered a true feast for the senses, showcasing the unique flavors of Turkish cuisine. From kebabs to mezze, traditional desserts to fresh fruits, each dish was meticulously prepared. The Sufi whirling dervish performance, in tune with the spirit of the night, allowed guests to experience the mystical and profound atmosphere of Istanbul.
